ELEMIS is launching a rebranded eCommerce experience and wanted a website that met their customers’ expectations for rich content and integrated commerce. They wanted to re-envision the site to accurately reflect the brand and to tell a more cohesive, thoughtful, and engaging brand experience online.

I worked on the project as a Senior UX Designer, creating personas, user flows, sitemaps, and wireframes.

Project Goals

  • Take a mobile-first approach.

  • Increase engagement through personalization.

  • Create unique guided selling flows.

  • Simplify the site structure to improve product discoverability.

  • Improve storytelling through relevant and meaningful content.

Stakeholder Workshop

I co-led a stakeholder workshop to learn who the ELEMIS customer was, what content they wanted on the site, and how to organize it accordingly.

Personas

Using our findings from the workshop, I created personas to better understand who we were designing for. The personas helped us identify existing pain points and potential opportunities for ELEMIS by showcasing user goals and behaviors.

Customer Journey

I put together a customer journey through the lens of the personas to get an understanding of their actions, thoughts, and pain points as they try to achieve their goals. This helped identify opportunities to improve their overall experience.

Final Designs

I worked alongside a UI Designer to create a new experience for the ELEMIS site. We took all of our learnings to design a clean and elegant interface that was grounded in who the ELEMIS customer was.
